AJ Brown vs Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White (Week 5)

In Week 5, we’ll get to see a matchup created in Football Heaven. Two young players with all the talent in the world, one at the top of his game in Buffalo cornerback Tre’Davious White and one whose working his way to the top in AJ Brown, going head to head with bragging rights on the line.

Man, I miss sports.

Quarantine-induced hyperbole aside,  Week 5 could offer football fans with one of the most exciting head-to-head matchups of the season. The Buffalo Bills have one of the best secondaries in the NFL, and White has acted as the king amongst kings in that group. AJ Brown, on the other hand, has quickly risen up the ranks of Titans pass-catchers to the clear-cut WR1, showing signs of an ‘elite receiver in the making’ along the way.

Getting to see these two go at it against each other for four quarters of football will be a blast. In the Titans game against the Bills last season, White often shadowed Corey Davis, but will most likely switch to defending Brown since the Titans’ receiver has climbed up the depth chart. And when they do go against each other, Brown will be looking for redemption after being held to just two catches for 27 yards in that first game.

Expect White’s sticky coverage skills to keep Brown contained on some plays, and Brown’s route-running skills to break him free on others. But either way, expect a great matchup between two great players.
