A bittersweet feeling about former Tennessee Titans CB Logan Ryan signing New York Jets.

The Tennessee Titans chose to let former standout cornerback Logan Ryan walk, and it appears that he will be signing with the New York Jets.

This is one of those situations where it just seems like the team nailed the exact length of a player’s deal, and while Ryan still has a lot to offer the Jets it was clear that the Titans thought they were better off without him.

While the numbers are clear year, it seems like the Titans were set to move on from Ryan as a starter and the gap between the team and the player only got larget when Ryan said that his price tag was going to start at $10 million per year.

For a cash strapped team like the Titans, a deal like that just didn’t seem to make sense.

We will see in a year or two whether or not it was the right call to keep Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry over Logan Ryan and Jack Conklin, but let’s take a look at what the Jets are getting and why the Titans were right to make the moves that they did.
