1. Tennessee Titans

Biggest issue: Too many bodies at EDGE

Player hurt the most: Jack Crawford

I will continue to say this until a signing is made, but in what world is a one-year deal between the Tennessee Titans and Jadeveon Clowney not the best thing involved for everyone?

Mike Vrabel coached Clowney to his best season as a pro and has been extremely complimentary of him in the past. Without a real base down EDGE, the Titans could use someone as effective as Clowney opposite Harold Landry this season and I know that Kamalei Correa looks better after the way that he finished the 2019 postseason, but Tennessee can do better.

As for Clowney, he obviously expected to have a bigger turn out in free agency and has admitted that he was frustrated early in the process. You know what could turn that all around after the 2020 season? If you go to a team where you will be in the spotlight immediately as the one player on defense that the national media knows.

Vrabel has needed a 3-tech that can rush the passer since Casey showed he couldn’t fill that role anymore in 2019.

A pass rush package with Harold Landry and Vic Beasley screaming off the edge while Jadeveon Clowney and Jeffery Simmons stunt and decimate the interior offensive line would be a dream to watch. Throw in some blitzes from Kevin Byard, Rashaan Evans, Kenny Vaccaro, and Jayon Brown and now you have a defense as exciting as the offense.

I have no idea why a deal hasn’t been done between these two already.
