NFL Free agency: Ravens, Eagles and Titans in Jadeveon Clowney’s top-5

5. Baltimore Ravens

Biggest Issue: Cap Space

Player hurt the most: Matt Judon

The Baltimore Ravens being mentioned here only makes sense in one scenario.

With just $10 million available in cap space, the Ravens would make to make a cut or more likely a trade to get Clowney to fit on their roster. Specifically, the player most likely to be traded would be Matt Judon the EDGE that they franchise tagged this past offseason.

I think that they are very unlikely to sign Clowney given that fact and the fact that they already sort of have an EDGE/DT hybrid in Calais Campbell who they traded for this offseason.

However, even I have to admit that the defense-first Baltimore Ravens franchise has to think that adding Clowney would help revitalize that front-seven along with the other additions they have made this offseason.

Again, I think this move is the epitome of a luxury move and it would cause cap problems, but the Ravens have always been a team to take chances on talented defenders so why not now?
