Wide receiver target: Hasise Dubois

This offseason was supposed to be the offseason to pick up a wide receiver. Whether that meant in the draft or in free agency, the options were great at the top and deep at the bottom so if you wanted to add depth or get a star, you were going to have a chance.

The Titans elected to pass on both.

Despite losing Tajae Sharpe to free agency, the front office decided that they didn’t need to sign anyone in free agency or draft a wide receiver at any point in one of the strangest moves by the team under Jon Robinson.

Maybe a trade is in the works or maybe the Titans just expect a lot of good receivers to get cut when that day comes, but either way, the depth chart at WR looks baren after the top-3.

Hasise Dubois isn’t a great athlete, but he is 6’3 and is very sure-handed with experience on the outside.

While the Titans are planning on signing a couple of UDFA wide receivers, the fact is that it should truly be a wide-open competition for the WR5 and WR6 spots this year. Kalif Raymond has earned a chance on the roster, but guys like Cam Batson and Cody Hollister shouldn’t just be handed a spot.
