Chris Jackson DB, Marshall

Chris Jackson is not a player that I had my eye on anytime throughout the college football season or even during the draft. When the Titans chose him in the 7th round, I immediately looked to see what kind of player he is.

Chris Jackson appears to be a very athletic cornerback, which is something the Titans could use against the track teams of the NFL like the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson is certainly not going to break and rookie records, but he is a great depth addition to this Tennessee secondary, which is why I believe he will make the cut for the final roster.

Jon Robinson has made a habit of collecting athletic DBs on Day 3 like Dane Cruikshank, Kalan Reed and Amani Hooker, so far this has led to some pretty interesting results and better special teams performance as a whole.

With the Titans in need of corner depth, this move makes even more sense now than in previous years.
