Larrell Murchison DL, North Carolina State

I believe that defensive lineman Larrell Murchison makes the roster strictly to add depth to the d-line.

After the Jurrell Casey trade the Titans are desperate for another man in the middle. I honestly would not expect Murchison to make a major impact during the season, but he is valuable enough to keep around.

During his senior season at NC State Murchison totaled 7 sacks and 12 tackles for loss, and he showed consistent improvement throughout his college career.

He definitely proved that he can disrupt an offense in college, the now question is, will he be able to do it in the NFL.

Unless there is an injury, I don’t think that there is a strong chance of Murchison becoming a starter or even the first man off the bench for the Titans when they start rotating. However, I do believe that Larrell Murchison is worth keeping, but he is a developmental player that might see playing time down the road.

With numbers and developmental talent lacking on the DL, this is an incredibly likely option.
