Round 7 Pick 243

I’m not sure about you guys, but I don’t exactly watch much Marshall Thundering Herd football.

However, by all accounts, Jackson is a heck of a player. Jackson is the all-time Marshall Football leader in pass breakups, with 45. Jackson is also used to playing special teams, which is most likely the role he will play for the Titans.

Robinson and Vrabel love versatility and special teams prowess, and Jackson fits both criteria. He has experience at safety and corner, similar to an Amani Hooker type.

From everything I’ve learned about Jackson, he seems to embody what Vrabel and Robinson look for in a player. If Jackson establishes himself on special teams in the preseason, he could make the roster, and that’s about all you can expect from a late 7th-rounder.

I was shocked that Kalija Lipscomb was still on the board here, and I would’ve loved him to remain in Nashville. The pick of Jackson seems a little redundant, as he profiles similarly to Hooker, Cruikshank, and Milton.
