Round 2 Pick 61: CB Kristian Fulton

I love this pick.

A couple of weeks ago, I actually had the Titans taking the LSU product in the first round. The Titans got excellent value here, as Fulton was expected to go in the first 20 or so picks of the draft.

Fulton had 14 pass breakups for the champion LSU Tigers in 2019, and is accustomed to playing in the slot or on the boundary. Fulton should slot in immediately as a starter, alongside Adoree Jackson and Malcolm Butler.

I assume this puts an end to any chance of Logan Ryan returning, but I believe Fulton is well-suited to replace him.

If there’s a downside to Fulton, he does seem to get lost from time to time when the ball is in the air. He also has a slight build and isn’t the fastest CB in the world. All in all, I believe Fulton will come in and be a valued member of the MMCNB crew, as the positives greatly outweigh the negatives.

Another great pick by Robinson.
