With the 2020 NFL Draft now behind us, did the Titans do enough to improve the roster?

The 2020 NFL Virtual Draft has come and gone.

This was definitely a draft for the history books, and I want to say I was impressed with how the league handled this situation. Other than whatever was going on at Mike Vrabel’s house, the process went off without a hitch.

The Titans entered the draft with seven selections, but none in the 4th or 6th round. Many, including myself, were expecting Robinson to pull off a trade or two to try and recoup some draft picks. However, other than trading one of their three seventh-rounders, the Titans stood pat.

In typical Jon Robinson fashion, this wasn’t the sexiest of drafts, but several needs were addressed and that’s the most important thing.

The Titans ended draft weekend with their (hopefully) Right Tackle of the future, a Logan Ryan replacement, and a change-of-pace Derrick Henry compliment, among others.

Robinson and Co. ended the weekend with Larrell Murchison, a nice Austin Johnson replacement, the possible backup QB of the future in Cole McDonald, and a depth secondary piece in Chris Jackson.

As a whole, I like this draft. I will like it even more if it comes out that Jadeveon Clowney has signed to play in Nashville.

Let’s dive into individual grades for the Titans six picks.
