A quick mock draft with what is left for the Tennessee Titans.

The Tennessee Titans have filled their need at offensive tackle, but there are still some pretty important positions that have to be addressed before the season starts.

You would think that two of these positions need to be heavily considered with the Titans six remaining draft picks: SCB, WR4, RB2, QB2, DL/EDGE

Of those positions, QB2 is probably the least important considering what Tennessee has said before about wanting to draft players that will improve the team short term, but more importantly long term.

After investing so much in Ryan Tannehill, you have to think that they already have the long term answer in house.

That means that I went into this mock draft thinking that I needed to get the best possible players at either slot corner, wide receiver or running back.

Without trading down this is what I came up with using the PFN mock draft simulator:

Round 2, pick 61: J.K. Dobbins RB, Ohio State

It is so hard to pass on Dobbins for a lot of reasons. The big three though are that he has outstanding production at the college level, Mike Vrabel has to love his Ohio State background and if the team’s pick last night showed a commitment to running the football, then wouldn’t it be nice to have at least one more running back on the roster?

Cornerback was tough to pass on here, but all the fringe 1st round players were gone and I don’t know that there is that much of a difference between the 7th and 12th best CB. Wide receiver was easy because unless Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman fall, then I don’t know who I would pick.

Round 3, pick 93: Amik Robertson CB, Louisiana Tech

Forget the size on the paper and watch his size on tape. Robertson isn’t afraid of anyone and any receiver that thinks they are going to get the better of him finds out just how mistaken they were by the time the game is over.

We all know and love Amik Robertson and I would be thrilled with him as a 3rd round pick, but I didn’t realize how much I would like the option to trade down and get 3 3rd round picks so that I could land Robertson, James Lynch and Antonio Gibson.

That would be a stellar trio, but I will “settle” for one of the best slot cornerbacks in the draft and a 1st round caliber RB.
