Round 7, Pick 224

Nevelle Clarke CB, UCF

The Titans finish adding depth in some key positions in the seventh round. First, they start at cornerback and pick up Nevelle Clarke out of UCF. The redshirt senior gives the Titans a player who has shown splashes of ball-hawking ability with five picks over his career. Clarke can function as a rotational player for the Titans zone schemes that move away from him having to play man coverage.

Round 7, Pick 327

Darius Anderson RB, TCU

The Titans find a replacement for Dion Lewis and draft TCU RB Darius Anderson. Anderson gives the Titans a third-down back with downfield playmaking ability, speed, and pass-catching prowess. The Titans need someone to help stretch the field and make plays on long second and third downs and Anderson is a perfect fit. His knack for scoring with 18 total touchdowns gives the Titans a unique playmaker late in this draft.

Round 7, Pick 243

Tyler Huntley QB, Utah

The Titans go ahead and select QB Tyler Huntley out of Utah with their last pick in this draft. With the departure of Marcus Mariota, the Titans are in dire need of a backup quarterback behind Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill has had bad luck with injuries in the past and the Titans need someone who can come in and play for the team. Huntley is a dual-threat quarterback that can spread the field with his mobility as well as his arm. He gives the Titans a player that can plug in behind Tannehill and run the offense if his name is called.
