A last-second, seven-round mock for the Tennessee Titans heading into Day One of the 2020 NFL Draft

The day has finally arrived. Batten down the hatches, board up the windows and get ready to boo Roger Goodell from the comfort of your own home. Because the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft is today!

NFL Draft season always receives the benefit of immense anticipation a months-long build-up. Even before the regular season ends fans get busy identifying roster holes and speculating which college players their teams will take to fill those holes.

Speculate no more, my friends. Because later this evening we’ll be finding out for sure who Jon Robinson and Mike Vrabel have identified as the first Titan of the 2020 class. But despite a season of great success in 2019, Robinson will have his work cut out for him in this upcoming draft with a couple of positions of need on both offense and defense.

Mock drafts from the NFL experts don’t seem to have a consensus position, or even player this year, for the Tennessee Titans first-round pick. NBC’s Peter King has the Titans taking Georgia’s right tackle, Isaiah Wilson, ESPN’s Mel Kiper has them taking Penn State’s edge rusher Yetur Gross-Matos with other mock drafters from across the world all going in completely different directions.

The one thing that’s clear is that there are a few different directions the Titans could go with their first-round pick, but the draft doesn’t end after their Day One selection, either. Wherever they go today will check off one position of need and leave the other roster vacancies to be filled in the later rounds. So instead of mocking just the Titans first-round pick, let’s go through round by round for a full seven-round mock, hours before the 2020 NFL Draft officially begins.
