22. Justin Madubuike DL/EDGE, Texas A&M

This name may surprise you, but I really like Madubuike even if he would clearly be a reach in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

What I like most about the former Aggies lineman is that I think he is one of the few players in this draft that is both versatile and consistent.

Measuring 6’3 and 292 lb. doesn’t sound like a guy who can play DT or EDGE full time in the NFL and maybe that is true, however, if a team like the Titans use him correctly they can have their base end in a 4-3 look who can kick inside and rush the quarterback from inside on passing downs.

I see being one of the players in this draft that could be selected if the Titans feel like they don’t believe they can get Jadeveon Clowney. Both would fill a similar need for Tennessee and both would add depth and starting-caliber talent to the DL and EDGE groups.

While Madubuike is probably best suited as a nickel DT who is forced into the other half of that role, it is still a solid “poor man’s” replacement and it would fill a hole on this roster that the Titans obviously believe needs filling.
