NFL Draft: The 29 players Tennessee Titans should consider in round one

23. Laviska Shenault WR, Colorado

Of all the players who would be redundant with A.J. Brown, Shenault is the one who I think could actually thrive with the Tennessee Titans.

Huge medical concerns and a lack of ideal measurements or production will probably knock him out of the first round, but that is the glass half empty story on him.

Instead, if you focus on what he can do with the ball in his hand and how many creative ways you could use him then you get the picture on why he has been projected as a 1st round pick for much of his college career.

At 6’0, 227 lb. you can imagine how difficult it is to tackle him in the open field whether you are using him as a running back or a receiver. His strength after the catch is his defining quality and while I don’t know if he has the speed or initial quickness to be more than a WR2, his tenacity is hard to ignore.

Again, I go back to the question of “Does this transform the Titans offense into something different and better?” and the answer is no, which is why he is so far down this list.
