25. Trevon Diggs CB, Alabama

Now we are getting into players who are more talented but I just don’t think are the best fits for the Tennessee Titans.

Diggs unique because he has size and strength which really help him in a lot of evaluations, but the problem is that he won’t fit with that the Titans do.

There are times when the Titans play man, but Diggs only really thrives when he can be aggressive with his press technique at the line of scrimmage. The further he moves back, the worse he looks and his lack of technique combined with stiff hips is terrible to see.

To win, he needs to disrupt the timing of the quarterback and the wide receiver or else he has to hope that he can make a play when the ball is in the air.

With how soft the Titans play on 3rd down I think Diggs would be a sitting duck and his skillset and measurables make me think that he is a boundary cornerback and not someone who can move inside and out at the next level. That means that Adoree Jackson would have to come inside in nickel packages and I just don’t think that improves the team.

Solid player in the right scheme and worth a top-50 pick, but not for the Titans.
