3. Henry Ruggs WR, Alabama

Spoiler alert, the final three players are all receivers and there are a few reasons why I think they could fall.

For one thing we have very little information about which teams have a preference for which receiver which can mean that no teams are truly in love with any of the big three receivers. In fact, I think the two team/receiver draft combinations that we have seen the most frequently are the Denver Broncos and Henry Ruggs along with the Philadelphia Eagles and Justin Jefferson.

Neither of the big two have been linked to teams consistently and if they fall then it is probably going to push Ruggs down as well.

In a deep class full of every “flavor” of WR you could want, some talent is going to fall and there is a reason why the offensive tackles in this class are being linked to the top-10 teams instead of these skill positions.

Why is Ruggs specifically #3? While I love his game-breaking speed and potential to be a true transformative wide receiver, the consistent, elite production isn’t there like it is with the other two.

In a race between two WRs who have been crowned the blue bloods of this draft class for the last two years, it is easy to see why Ruggs could be a value pick but also why teams could choose to go a different way early.
