9. Marlon Davidson DL/EDGE, Auburn

Speaking of guys I want on my roster, how about the man that should have gotten some of the attention that Derrick Brown has gotten.

Sure, Brown is great but he isn’t exactly doing it alone on that defensive line. There was an EDGE who weighed nearly 300 lb. and beat offensive tackles with power and hand use on the outside who led the team in sacks known as Marlon Davidson.

And Davidson was there the whole time with Brown seeing as he saw 51 starts in his four-year career. The only game he didn’t play was when he had some back stiffness and sat out this past season, but that shouldn’t distract you from a defensive tackle/EDGE playing 13 games as a true freshman.

Davidson wasn’t just there either, over the course of his career he had 30 TFLs, 17 sacks, 9 pass break ups, 4 forced fumbles, and averaged 40+ tackles per season.

From relentless effort and energy to size and versatility, Jon Robinson and Mike Vrabel are going to love this kid and he is one of the few DL/EDGE combos that I could see them drafting and still giving Jadeveon Clowney a contract because Davidson is so good that he could just be a nickel DT and earn his keep in year 1.
