Jon Robinson leaves the door open for a Jadeveon Clowney signing

In the past week, Clowney has been mentioned in both media appearances by Jon Robinson.

The Tennessee Titans GM is generally tight-lipped on specifics, but when he is asked about Clowney he seems to share much more than normal.

While Robinson obviously isn’t getting specific in terms of years or AAV for a contract offer, it sounds like the Titans have put the ball in Clowney’s court. Not only have they made an offer to him, but it seems like they would be willing to discuss terms instead of just saying that there is an offer on the table and he can take it or leave it.

In what could potentially be another instance of me going full “Pepe Silvia“, something that keeps standing out is how frequently the Titans use Jadeveon Clowney’s name or pictures in their recent articles.

Maybe it is just how frequently it gets retweeted or something, but it seems like a daily barrage of Titans and Clowney matchups.
