Round 7

7th round, pick 224: Jon Runyan Jr. OT, Michigan

More than a legacy with the Tennessee Titans or a fellow Michan alumnus on the OL, Runyan is a qualified offensive tackle who has is very athletic for his size and would fit well in a ZBS scheme like what the Titans run.

Again, talent and depth along the offensive line and give them another cheap backup at an important unit.

7th round, pick 237: Myles Bryant CB, Washington

Bryant is a pretty well-decorated cornerback whose size and specific athleticism (good change of direction with mediocre/below-average long speed) suggest that he would be an interesting slot cornerback project at the next level with a high floor and low ceiling. He did have quite a bit of production as a tackler with at least 4.5 TFLs in each of the three years that he started.

7th round, pick 437: Derrek Tuszka EDGE, North Dakota State

One of the best athletes at the combine at any position, Tuszka has real Maxx Crosby energy and I wouldn’t be mad if the Titans took him way earlier than this. In all honesty there were several EDGEs on the board ranked ahead of Tuszka and I decided to let him fall until I needed to use a pick on him here.
