Tennessee Titans: Most realistic 7-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft
By Will Lomas
My best shot at a realistic 7-round mock draft for the Tennessee Titans two days before the event.
The best GMs in the NFL walk the fine line between being predictable and being risk-takers in the NFL Draft, which is exactly how Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson has been since taking over.
For Robinson, the first things you look for are production and athleticism. That would have led you to Kevin Byard, Harold Landry and A.J. Brown as well as others in his draft classes.
Then you think about players who are dominant on film, but who may face questions at the next level.
Can Jack Conklin successfully move from left tackle to right tackle and be an impact player?
How athletic is Corey Davis since he played in a small conference and had an ankle injury that prevented predraft testing?
Is Jeffery Simmons worth a 1st round pick even though he plays a low-impact position, didn’t produce sacks at a high rate and tore an ACL which not only prevented athletic testing but might keep him out for a season?
Those wildcards make Robinson’s drafts interesting instead of just being copy and past players from a list of 50 or so players that pass his filters. One more thing before we start that we need to address: visits.
