What is the price for Adams?

If I had to guess, I would assume that trading for Jamal Adams will require a team to trade a pick in the 20-40 range of the 2020 NFL Draft.

When you think about it, you are giving up a pick in that range that you hope becomes a player of his caliber and although you don’t get to control the entire career of Adams, you do take out all of the guesswork.

At 25 years old and with two years left on his rookie contract, Adams gives a team a player who can thrive near the line of scrimmage and make a living off of attacking offenses instead of staying back and playing in coverage.

While this is great, you need someone covering to help support this playmaker. I am not saying this to limit his potential options, but instead, I want everyone to know why his value isn’t a consensus 1st rounder and why people may be shocked if the Jets have to give back a mid or late-round pick in a deal for Jamal Adams.
