What would a draft-day trade between the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans look like?

I said earlier (today in fact) that one of the only good parts about the Tennessee Titans having the 29th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft is that they will have the chance to capitalize on teams trading up to land the few remaining players on their boards with 1st round grades.

Jordan Love is going to be a hot name at the end of the first round, but teams don’t just trade up for quarterbacks.

Today two different potential trade rumors have popped up surrounding the Denver Broncos.

The first doesn’t have much impact on the Tennessee Titans, but I should mention it anyway. That is the rumor that Albert Breer floated out in Sports Illustrated this morning:

"O.K., so who is looking at trading up? Three teams that seem to be investigating it pretty pointedly: Tampa, Denver and Atlanta. The Bucs and Broncos, I’ve heard, could be going up for one of the top four linemen (Becton, Jedrick Wills, Tristan Wirfs and Andrew Thomas), making Jacksonville’s slot, at No. 9, a potential hotspot, given the needs the Browns and Jets have at 10 and 11."

That makes sense and it certainly seems like there is going to be a run on offensive tackles, quarterbacks and wide receivers in the top-16 unless something changes.

What should intrigue Titans fans is what the Broncos could do if they can’t figure out a trade for one of the big names they like. Or better yet, what if the board is falling so well for Denver that they push back offensive line need until the 2nd round?
