207. CB Dane Jackson, Pittsburgh

University of Pittsburgh CB Dane Jackson is sometimes overly physical. A dominant run-stopper from the corner position, Jackson would be a substantial addition to the Titans’ secondary group.

Jackson tested out down-the-middle at the combine and was good enough in coverage at Pittsburgh. He is ahead of the curve in press and backs down from virtually no one. A three-year starter, Jackson lined up man to man his fair share in college.

At 190 pounds, Jackson needs to add some bulk to sustain his level of play as a press cornerback. He routinely beats receivers at the line of scrimmage, but that will be unlikely to translate without the added weight.

However, with his strength being in man, his transition to the NFL will likely be less rocky than others. The former Panther would provide a decent depth option for the Titans, and another Jackson to add to the action.
