If the Titans are looking for a Dion Lewis replacement, they might not have to look far.

Vanderbilt’s Ke’Shawn Vaugh is a player that I would love to see the Tennessee Titans go after on Day 3. Playing just down the road from Nissan Stadium, he has taken a winding path, but is built for the NFL. Vaughn started his college career at Illinois, but transferred to Vanderbilt to be closer to his home in Nashville.

After transferring to Vanderbilt, Vaughn had two consecutive seasons of over 1000 yards rushing. Adding to his impressive rushing numbers, Vaughn contributed 41 receptions in two seasons, which should help his case to back up Derrick Henry.

After cutting Dion Lewis, the Titans need a back who can catch and pass protect, but also run between the tackles when Henry needs a rest.

Vaughn would bring a change-of-pace to the Titans’ backfield, and should be able to spell Derrick Henry when asked.

Not only would Vaughn be cheaper than Lewis, he has all the ability to be more productive as well. For a 5th round pick, Vaughn would be excellent value and provide a much-needed spark when Henry is on the sideline.
