2020 NFL Draft: Bryce Lazenby’s full Tennessee Titans mock draft 1.0
With the depth and talent in this draft class, the Tennessee Titans half to select a receiver in the top-100.
Owing to this, we can get a quality receiver in Round 3 in Van Jefferson out of Florida. Jefferson had at least 35 catches and 450 yards in every one of his college seasons, and finished with 16 touchdown catches for his career.
Tajae Sharpe recently took off for Minnesota, and Jefferson could be the perfect replacement. Jefferson and Sharpe are very similar players, each running an official 4.55 40-yard-dash before the draft. Neither guy is a burner, but both are sure-handed and crisp route-runners.
Corey Davis also could very well be entering his final season as a Titan, so depth at this position group is key. Jefferson adds value on special teams as a gunner, something the Titans seem to value given recent free-agent signings like Chris Milton. If Jefferson is available in Round 3, the Titans should be calling.
Fun fact: Jefferson is a Brentwood local, and is the son of former Titans’ Wide Receivers Coach Shawn Jefferson.
