2020 NFL Draft: Bryce Lazenby’s full Tennessee Titans mock draft 1.0
I went back and forth here between Kristian Fulton and Jalen Reagor, the wide receiver for TCU.
I love Reagor’s play but ultimately went with Fulton because CB is currently a more pressing need on the team, and the crop of receivers in this class is very deep. This is an example where a team ignoring “BPA” and looking a little lower on the big board makes a lot of sense when you look at the draft as a whole.
Fulton had some injury issues in college but still managed to total 32 tackles, 13 pass defenses, and one interception in 2019. He also has good size for an outside corner, measuring in at 6’0 and weighing 197 pounds which is something the Titans could appreciate. Not to say that Fulton isn’t fast too, because he also has speed clocking an official 40-yard-dash time of 4.46.
Cornerback is more of a need than many realize, especially if Logan Ryan is truly gone. Cornerback Malcolm Butler is also another year older, and coming off of a season-ending injury.
With the Jadeveon Clowney rumors, and addition of Vic Beasley, I bumped the Edge position down the list of needs, so taking the best Cornerback on the board is the pick here. Kristian Fulton is that guy.
