Tennessee Titans all in?

The answer is yes, the Titans are interested in Clowney.

Last night Paul Kuharsky wrote that the Tennessee Titans were “in” on Clowney:

This is important because Kuharsky hasn’t said anything definitive on this until now and if he thinks the Titans are in on Clowney then (you would assume) that is because he has a source that says something similar.

Everything has been pointing to this for a while and people were even pushing back against the potential move after Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson both spoke about the free agent EDGE at their press conference last week.

But this shows that the Titans did more than just touch base with Clowney. Now all Titans fans are waiting for is news from Ian Rapoport who seems to be the person most connected with Tennessee nationally or locally.

One reason for that wait may have been figured out by Mike Herndon:

The Titans may have a deal in place with Clowney where they are agreed in principle but other teams are still free to talk to him and make him offers. That would explain why teams keep bouncing off of Clowney while the Titans are sticking strong.
