Brother of Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs, Trevon Diggs, is a long, physical cornerback from the University of Alabama. He reminds me of the prototypical press man corner the Seattle Seahawks salivate over. He could be a better fit in Seattle or even in New England than anywhere else in the league.

The Titans would be lucky to have him, too.

In 2018, Diggs suffered a foot injury that ended his junior season early after starting the first six games; his breakout would have to wait another year. As a senior, in 2019, Diggs did just that. He earned a coverage grade of 90.1 per Pro Football Focus, allowing only 22 receptions all year — a lowly 42.3 percent completion rate.

Playing for a program like Alabama allows Diggs to be near NFL ready. He will excel in press-man or press-zone coverage schemes, and his experience in the SEC prepares him for dealing with the increase of talent at the next level.

Again, you’d like the career interception total (4) higher here, but allowing a 44.5 passer rating in the SEC is impressive. Practicing with dynamic wide receiver and route-running technician, Jerry Jeudy, on the daily certainly helps.
