Terrell Lewis EDGE, Alabama

Terrell Lewis was fantastic when healthy, but those times were so far and few between that it is clearly a red flag on the former Crimson Tide pass rusher.

Lewis missed a majority of the 2017 season and all of the 2018 season for the Alabama Roll Tide. Last season, he was able to play in 10 games and racked up six sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss.

Again though, when healthy Lewis has the skills to translate to the NFL and impact the game. The sheer limited playing time has definitely stunted his development in college and there is room to grow in his pass-rushing ability.

For a Titans team that needs a plug-and-play type player at the position right now, Lewis is not worth the investment. Tennessee needs an EDGE who can anchor vs the run and handle a high workload immediately so that pass rush specialists can come on the field fresh.

As it stands now, no one is sure that Lewis is going to be able to be active for a full season, much less a player who would ideally be asked to play 50% of the snaps or more.

Since the Titans aren’t fully depleted at the EDGE rusher position they can afford to be picky. If the team opts to go for an EDGE rusher in the first round, they need someone reliable and dependable and Lewis doesn’t give you that.
