Minnesota Vikings

Position taken: CB

The Minnesota Vikings have historically be stacked on defense and after trading away Stefon Diggs, you would expect that the team would have more of an offensive focus in the draft, right?

Well, that is the case sometimes but more often than not the Vikings will use one of their two picks in the first round to take a cornerback after a massive turnover at the position this offseason.

The good news for the Titans is that the Vikings have invested heavily in this position in the past and seemed very willing to let their other CBs go. Maybe that means that they are comfortable with Mike Hughes and Holton Hill as at least as two of the top three guys at cornerback?

That would allow them to pick an offensive tackle and a wide receiver high if they wanted to try to surround Kirk Cousins with more weapons and more protection going forward.

Again, like the Ravens the Vikings have a hole on the interior offensive line and could end up using a high pick on that too which is worth monitoring at the back half of the first round either in a trade back scenario or as a reach.
