Here is a list of players the Titans can add at each position on the defense to help improve the roster.
The Tennessee Titans have been relatively quiet participants in free agency, but that doesn’t mean that they haven’t been active.
While they don’t get enough credit for how they started the offseason with a big extension to Ryan Tannehill and a franchise tag for Derrick Henry, it is true that the Titans have done little else since free agency started.
And while Vic Beasley should be mentioned here, he isn’t projected to get true starter snaps and should probably be looked at as a more limited role player until we see otherwise.
With over 20 Titans players testing free agency, the team still needs to find players to join the roster. Particularly, the Titans need to put focus on the defensive side of the ball where they suffered some pretty serious losses to starters and depth.
The Titans traded away their veteran leader Jurrell Casey while Logan Ryan and Kamalei Correa are still unsigned free agents. The team lost rotational players Austin Johnson to the Giants and LeShaun Sims to the Bengals while the team cut Cameron Wake.
The Titans have more questions than answers after two weeks in free agency. There are holes all along the defensive side of the ball and based on where we stand, I have come up with a list of players that the team should sign at each position on defense.
