EDGE

This position group seems to be perpetually thin for the Titans. Yes, Vic Beasley was brought in on a one-year deal, but the group is STILL thin. Kamalei Correa is a free agent, but he could potentially be brought back into the fold. Landry is a stud, but there isn’t much else to be excited about in this group.

The wild cards of the group are interesting, but not exceptional with Derick Roberson coming on strong last year, Reggie Gilbert re-signed and former 5th round pick D’Andre Walker should be healthy and ready to go this year.

I don’t believe the current Titans’ pass-rushing core is good enough. Markus Golden is still available, and he had double-digit sacks last year. Jadeveon Clowney, long connected to the Titans, is also still available. One of these guys should be a Titan in 2020.

We saw towards the end of 2019, the Titans pass rush was just non-existent. The team cannot afford to enter 2020 with this group of pass-rushers, especially if the defensive play calling is going to be left to Vrabel who hasn’t had a great track record there.

Clowney and Landry as the starting outside ‘backers, with Beasley and Walker rotating in sounds much better than the current plan, so let’s hope they make that happen.
