Denver Broncos

This one may seem a little strange, but the certainly fit the rebuild mantra.

All indications are that the Broncos love their young QB, and I can understand why because Drew Lock did help them win 4 of 5 games to finish the season and looked solid doing it.

So now you are looking at a team drafting in the top half of the draft that doesn’t need a quarterback. Always a good bet when you are looking at trade up candidates.

We also know that John Elway isn’t going to get fired for trading down after finally hitting on some players in his last draft class (plus he would almost have to fire himself given his position in the company).

Since the season ended it feels like all the signs have been pointing to the Broncos attempting to add a speed receiver to compliment Drew Lock’s deep ball.

So, if Henry Ruggs from Alabama is gone, I suspect they will trade down and add picks to their rebuild. That isn’t to disparage this class of wide receivers that win with speed, but if you can’t get the premier talent of the group your mindset has to shift to making the most of your picks.
