Free agency isn’t over: 6 moves from 2019 prove Titans still have options

4. Emmanuel Ogbah

In the title I mention that free agency isn’t over, but maybe this would be better described as a list of moves from last year that happened during the offseason as a whole at this point.

Going forward, all of these moves are trades that happened after the first wave of free agency but before the draft.

Ogbah wasn’t a star, but he still managed 5.5 sacks and 6 TFLs despite missing nearly half the season last year. He was on pace to hit double digits, and while we have all heard the cliche that availability is the best ability, it turns out that availability without ability doesn’t help anyone.

For the Titans, this is important because this deal was a swap of backups essentially and it outlines how Tennessee can make a move with another team without giving up too much.

Sure, there are some huge trades that Titans could make, but why not focus on a smaller, niche trade instead where everyone gets what they wants like this player-for-player trade last year?
