3. Markus Golden

The New York Giants’ outside linebacker Markus Golden had silently put up a strong season. While the Giants struggled to field a competitive roster, Golden was one of the few bright spots.

Golden posted 10 sacks and 13 tackles for loss, the lone Giant to rack up double digit totals in both. The five-year pro has seen a quiet market for a second consecutive year despite posting more sacks that Clowney last year.

After signing a one-year, $3.75 million contract last year, Golden is looking to cash in on his production. Golden seems to be a perfect fit for the Titans to add depth behind Beasley and Landry.

The team has enough cap space to bring in Golden on a team-friendly contract. While Golden won’t be the splashy signing like Griffen, Suh, or Clowney, Golden might be the best long term solution at the position.

Teams seem to be in the waiting period with Golden as the Clowney is still available. The Titans have a chance to pull the trigger on Golden now and use the additional cap on other positions.
