Jordan Ta’amu, QB

Age when the league starts: 22

Stats of note: 72% completion percentage and was A.J. Brown‘s college QB

Ta’amu never impressed me in college and consistently looked like a QB that I thought had no business in the league much less someone who was getting hype as a sleeper pick.

However, he did kinda end up in the NFL. In his first season out of college he landed on the Texans training camp roster and then went immediately into the XFL.

To his credit, he bounced back beautifully leading the XFL in completion percentage even though he didn’t throw a lot of touchdowns.

Now I know what you are going to say about another QB from Hawaii who is conservative with the ball. However, I would like to point out that you could do a lot worse than having a guy like Ta’amu as your backup if he is going to be that efficient.

Also, wouldn’t it be funny to watch a former XFL QB beat out a former AAF QB for the backup job? It would be to me at least, so watch your back Logan Woodside!
