Jadeveon Clowney offer

First and foremost, let’s talk about the blue-chip elephant in the room: former Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks EDGE Jadeveon Clowney.

News came out that Clowney potentially has offers on the table from at least three teams, we know this thanks to Gregg Bell’s article which you should check out:

"Seattle began Thursday the way it began Wednesday, Tuesday, the week, the month—heck, the offseason: waiting for Clowney to decide if he wants to stay or go. The three-time Pro Bowl edge rusher has been weighing offers from multiple teams, believed to include the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans, in addition to the Seahawks."

So it looks like the Titans are either in the mix for Clowney or thought to be in the mix, but it doesn’t make sense to suggest a name without being confident that a specific team is involved.

This makes a lot of sense because Clowney was the obvious name suspected when the Titans traded Jurrell Casey yesterday.

He fills a big need for the Titans and would add the attitude and physicality that the defensive line needs opposite Harold Landry and now Vic Beasley.

After relieving over $10 million this year and more than that in 2021 and 2022, the Titans now have a lot of ammo to be competitive in contract negotiations.
