New York Jets

The New York Jets are the team with the most buzz around Jack Conklin and it makes a lot of sense.

Sam Darnold is in a crucial year for evaluation and in the second year under Adam Gase you would hope to see some improvement. Something that could help speed that improvement up is an offensive line that isn’t absolutely terrible.

With teams lining up to pay Conklin a huge deal, getting him traded over on the tag and the renegotiating his contract in whatever way you want feels like a nonissue.

Since the Jets have interest in Joe Thuney as well, it isn’t crazy to think that this move could be the beginning of an offseason where they add Conklin at right tackle, Thuney at left guard, and draft an offensive tackle like Tristan Wirfs or Mekhi Becton in the first round.

The only potential issue with this deal is that, I can’t imagine that Ryan Tannehill had positive things to say about former Miami Dolphins HC Adam Gase during his season this year. If that rings true with Conklin, then there is no way he will want to jump on that bandwagon.

Potential offer: 3rd round (Either 68th or 79th)
