Bud Dupree

If the Steelers allow Bud Dupree to walk, Jon Robinson should be the first person to call him.

Bud Dupree definitely won’t be a bargain like some of these other guys I listed, but I consider him under-the-radar because of all the talk his counterparts such as Shaq Barrett, Jadeveon Clowney, and Matthew Judon are getting.

Those guys are all going to get paid, and deservedly so, but Dupree seems to be the forgotten guy in that group.

Dupree had a monster 2019, totaling 11.5 sacks and 68 tackles. Those 11.5 sacks would’ve led the Titans this year. Imagine Harold Landry on one side with Bud Dupree on the other. Having two guys capable of double digit sacks would be huge, as pass rush was arguably the Titans’ biggest weakness in 2019.

Dupree won’t come as cheap as the other guys on this list, but the Titans should absolutely be interested. Pass rushers of Dupree’s stature don’t become available often.
