What does a world without Jack Conklin look like?

I have gone on the record and said that I think it is stupid to think that the Titans are better without Jack Conklin given what we have seen in the three years where he wasn’t recovering from an ACL injury.

Over that time there have been few right tackles in the league who have been as solid  in pass protection and dominant in run blocking and the ones who have done it more consistently are all older than Conklin.

According to PFF, only four right tackles in the NFL played 80% of the snaps and allowed fewer sacks than Jack Conklin. Of those four only two were younger than Conklin and those two were Orlando Brown and Brian O’Neil who played for the teams with the most and fourth most rush attempts in the NFL.

So, if you want to give up that sort of consistency for nothing then be my guest but you need to understand that you are probably going to have a dropoff in rushing production and you are leaving your QB exposed.

Let’s talk about the possible benefits and potential free agent deal that could make this acceptable.
