1. Breshad Perriman

If you want to talk Jets, don’t talk to Adam Gase. Instead, speak with Breshad Perriman, because he’s got them.

A first-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens in 2016, Perriman ran an unofficial 4.22 40-yard-dash during his pro day at UCF. That’s faster than former Titans running back Chris Johnson. To put that into perspective, Olympic Gold Medalist runner Usain Bolt ran a 4.22.

Needless to say, Perriman has elite speed.

There was a time when Perriman seemed like a bust; a journeyman with no real place to call home. On September 1st, 2018, Perriman was released by the Ravens but was signed 16 days later with the Washington Redskins.

Again, he was cut just five days later. Perriman signed with the Cleveland Browns after another few weeks and had a rather uneventful 2018 season.

After the trade for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in 2019, Perriman sensed he was the odd man out and requested to be released from his one-year, $4 million contract.

The rest is history. Perriman joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019 and had an extremely productive end of the season in Florida. He finished with 36 catches for 645 yards and six touchdowns.

While he has struggled with drops throughout his career, Perriman proved once again that he can play in this league. And, although Tampa Bay deploys one of the elite passing attacks in all of football, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and the Titans aren’t far behind with their play-action game. They should take a shot on Perriman if the price is right.
