The only free agents the Tennessee Titans will pay attention to this offseason

Offensive Line

Donald Penn

-Donald Penn is another player with double connections to the Titans. First, he spent time on a Jon Robinson led Tampa Bay team and then he followed that with a stint in Oakland that eventually had him playing underneath Todd Downing in 2017 when he was OC.

Penn is going to be the only offensive lineman that I put on this list because I think he makes the most sense as a potential free agency option no matter how the Titans want to address the right tackle position.

If the Titans bring Conklin back then Penn can replace Dennis Kelly as the swing tackle/receiving offensive tackle. On the other hand, if they want to draft someone to replace Conklin then Penn could enter the season as the starter while the rookie gets ready.

Now, Penn wasn’t signed as a free agent when Taylor Lewan missed time with a suspension this year so that may mean that the Titans don’t have interest in him. However, if you want to judge which offensive lineman in this free agency class has the most ties to this coaching staff then I can’t find anyone with a stronger connection except for maybe Quinton Spain.
