Chase Daniel

On the middle to lower end of the spectrum of backup signal-callers is quarterback Chase Daniel. The 33-year-old spent the past two seasons as a member of the Chicago Bears and was the backup to quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

In eight games (three starts) with the Bears the past two seasons, Daniel completed 70 percent of his passes for 950 yards, with six touchdowns and four interceptions. However, no matter how he played, he was never able to surpass a struggling Trubisky.

With that said, chances are the Bears will be in the market for another quarterback who can push Trubisky and possibly take his starting spot (perhaps Mariota?), which would make Daniel available on the open market.

Sure, Daniel wouldn’t be the best option out there, but at least he’s got some experience and could game-manage his way to a few wins for the Titans if Tannehill is ever out.
