What are Tennessee Titans odds to win Super Bowl 55, land Tom Brady?
The 2019 season is officially in the books, and with that we now know what the early odds are for the Tennessee Titans to win Super Bowl LV.
The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, so now it’s time to look ahead and see where the Tennessee Titans stand among the rest of the NFL in the early odds for Super Bowl LV.
The Titans (+2200) are tied for the 10th-best odds to win the big game next season, according to The Action Network, which cites the numbers from DraftKings.
The Action Network also points out that Tennessee could earn even better odds it were to land impending free agent quarterback, Tom Brady, who looks as though he might leave the New England Patriots this offseason.
As far as odds to land Brady are concerned, the Titans (+500) are tied for the second-best chance of all 32 NFL teams. Only the New England Patriots (-230) have better odds, while the Los Angeles Chargers (+500) and Las Vegas Raiders (+500) are equal to Tennessee.
Sure, I could see the Titans’ odds going up if they land Brady, but chances are that will not happen. Tennessee seems likely to bring quarterback Ryan Tannehill back this offseason, it just comes down to how they’re going to do it.
On Sunday, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen stated that “Ryan Tannehill is not leaving the Titans”, which only reinforces the idea that Tennessee is not going to make a run at the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
Now all that’s left is for the Titans to figure out how they’re going to keep Tannehill, whether that be with either the franchise or transition tag, or by signing him to a long-term deal.
Along with Tannehill, the Titans will have to decide what happens with running back Derrick Henry, who is just as important of a free agent as Tannehill this offseason. Should Tennessee bring both back, they’ll be ready to make another run in 2020.
