Chicago Bears

Mitchell Trubisky did not have a good 2019. For reference, Andy Dalton was benched for three games and still threw for more yards than Trubisky.

To be fair, I am not implying Trubisky was the only reason for the Bears’ disappointing season, but he certainly didn’t do anything to help.

Perhaps head coach Matt Nagy is starting to feel the hot seat and would be willing to do something drastic, such as bringing in Mariota and having him duke it out with Trubisky for the starting quarterback spot.

I believe this is a good spot for Mariota. The Bears actually have a good roster and seem to be a signal-caller away from being contenders. And besides the good roster, this is a destination where Mariota might actually start. I do think Mariota is a better QB than Trubisky, and that he would beat him in a QB competition.

If Marcus Mariota wants to start in 2020, he could do a lot worse than Chicago.
