Las Vegas Raiders

With the Raiders franchise set to make the move to Las Vegas, I would not be surprised to see them shake up their quarterback room. Derek Carr has been fine, but that might be the problem. He has not shown an ability to lift the team up, and at this point Carr just seems like a slightly above-average quarterback.

An underrated advantage for the Raiders could be their new home. The idea of playing in a new stadium, in a city that has never had NFL football, might be appealing to Marcus.

Another factor the Raiders have in their favor, is Vegas is much closer to Hawaii than Nashville is, and Marcus Mariota loves his home.

There’s also the fact that head coach Jon Gruden inherited Carr, and could want the freedom to choose his own guy. If Gruden sees potential in Mariota, I could see the Raiders bringing Marcus in to compete with Carr.

If Mariota wins said competition, I’m sure there’s a team out there that would gladly take Carr off the Raiders’ hands.
