Final rookie grade: Incomplete

The Tennessee Titans selected talented pass rusher D’Andre Walker with the 168th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. It was a surprise to many that Walker fell to the fifth round considering he was very talented and productive during his tenure at the University of Georgia.

Walker was the Bulldogs’ sack leader during his last year at Georgia where he recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks his senior year. The former Georgia standout suffered an unfortunate undisclosed injury in training camp that eventually landed the rookie pass-rusher on injured reserved, which ultimately ended his 2019 season before it ever started.

Walker got the chance to redshirt during the 2019 season and is a wild card going into 2020. Arguably the team’s biggest priority going into the offseason is to find a legitimate pass-rusher off the edge.

If the former Georgia star pass-rusher is able to come in and physically apply the things that he cognitively learned on the sideline during his rookie year, then he could be the surprise answer to the team’s biggest question.
