Winner: Offensive line’s run blocking

We’re giving the entire offensive line the nod as a winner. After all, Henry’s legendary run in the second half of the season and in the playoffs would not have been possible without the big boys upfront.

Loser: Offensive line’s pass protection

If we’re going to point to a weakness on the offensive line, it was in pass protection. Part of the reason this offense got off to the awful start it did in 2019 was because of the constant pressure the group upfront was allowing to opposing defenses.

There’s no question that got better as the season went along, but the offensive line still left a lot to be desired in pass protection overall. In fact, the Titans allowed the third-most sacks in the NFL in 2019, surrendering 56 in total.

One of the biggest points of emphasis moving forward should be improving that or else this passing attack could have issues in 2020.
