Winner: A.J. Brown

We didn’t know what to expect from A.J. Brown at the start of the 2019 season, but he immediately showed us the special talent he possesses and later took off to new heights after Tannehill was named the starter in Week 7.

As a result, Brown is now the undisputed No. 1 receiver on the Titans and one of the best young players in the NFL overall. Titans fans have been waiting for that special receiver to come along, and Brown certainly looks the part.

Loser: Corey Davis

Going into 2019, Corey Davis was thought to be the No. 1 receiver in Nashville, however that changed rather quickly once it was clear Brown was having the better season of the two. Brown’s eye-popping numbers quickly left Davis as a distant No. 2 in the passing game.

After not totaling 100 yards in any game and taking a clear backseat to a rookie receiver, Davis’ future could be in doubt. The Titans will have to decide whether or not to pick up the fifth-year option in his rookie deal, and there’s a chance they’ll decline to do so.
